What is Local Line?

Local Line is a solutions provider for local food suppliers marketing direct to customer. Our software products enable suppliers to grow and manage their customers. We offer industry leading sales, marketing, and distribution solutions, all of which have been custom built to suit the unique needs of food suppliers. Our company has been around since 2014 and our growing team is based in Waterloo, Ontario.

What are the advantages of the Local Line platform?

Local Line will make and save you money. It will make you money by increasing your average order by 8% on average, and by driving new customers. Local Line will save you money by creating internal efficiencies in your order fulfillment processes, such as reduced manual entry, and integrations into your other systems. Who can see my store?

All price lists in Local Line are default private. That means only your customers can see them. No other supplier or non-customer can see them. You have the option to make a price list public, but by default all of your pricing and products are protected for you and your customers.

What is the cost?

Local Line starts at $49/month, and there are three different pricing packs to choose from. We offer annual and monthly pricing. Your pricing package is determined by the number of price lists, users, and product categories you need. In every package you get unlimited customers and products, and we don’t take a percentage of sale.

How do I pay for my subscription?

You can upgrade your account at any time by logging in and clicking “Upgrade” in the bottom left hand corner of the screen. Simply select your preferred pricing package and enter your credit card. If you want to user another payment method, please contact your Local Line sales rep.

Is there a setup fee?

No, there is no setup fee. If you’d like to have your account setup for you, you can purchase a “setup” add on for $199.

Can I change my plan?

Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time, free of charge.

Do you charge transaction fees?

Standard 2.9% credit card fees apply to payments accepted through the Local Line platform, but Local Line does not charge any additional transaction fee’s for use of the platform.

Is Local Line replacing my website?

No, we are not replacing your website. In fact, we build websites for our customers. We recommend embedding your Local Line store with your website, enabling your customers to order online from your website.

What technical support does Local Line offer?

Local Line’s technical support team is available from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday excluding holidays. All support inquiries will be responded to within 24 hours.

Can Local Line integrate with other online business tools (i.e. QuickBooks)?

Yes, we can integrate your Local line account with your other business tools, ask your Local Line sale’s rep about our current integrations.

How do I get started?

Create your account at www.localline.ca. Follow the steps to launch your online store during your 7-day free-trial, then select your preferred pricing pack and begin using the Local Line platform! Your Local Line sales rep will be available through this entire process.
